                             IMC Intercepts Exceptionally High Gold Grades
                                                   


The directors of IMC Exploration Group Plc are pleased to announce assay data from Drillhole 12-2551-
04 in Co. Wexford  where a core interval from 11.50 to 13.00m has yielded 354g/t  gold  (=11.38oz/t
gold). Core from this interval comprises vuggy vein quartz and oxidized siltstone. It is fragmented,
suggesting a fault zone.

Dr Glenn Millar commented, "This exceptional result, following on from the other  positive results
previously  announced from this licence area, confirms the outstanding exploration  potential of the
area and highlights the materiality of this asset. IMC is confident of continuing success with its on-
going drilling program in this area."
