SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 10, 2012) - H5, a leading provider of technology-assisted review and search services for the legal industry, announced the addition of three new members to its practice development team. Paul Brandt, Kelvin Chin and Rhonda Oliver join the company as Practice Directors and will manage new business development with law firms and corporations nationwide. The expansion of the team builds on the momentum from the company's strong growth in 2011 and furthers its plans for continued aggressive growth.
Paul Brandt has worked as a lawyer, recruiter, and provider of staffing services to the legal industry for over a decade. He joined H5 from LaSalle Legal Search, an executive search firm he founded and managed for ten years. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brandt held management and sales positions in contract attorney placement companies providing onshore and offshore staffing services. He also practiced law for over four years, specializing in commercial litigation and sports and entertainment law.
Kelvin ("Kel") Chin has more than 20 years' experience in business and legal services, and was among the first to focus full-time on law firm sales efforts with GCs, CFOs, and CEOs of Fortune 500 and middle market companies. He joined H5 from Womble Carlyle, and prior to that was at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge (now Edwards Wildman), and the litigation firm Theodora Oringher, where he held sales director and chief client development officer roles. Mr. Chin was also a regional vice president for a decade with the American Arbitration Association, the world's largest provider of arbitration and mediation services.
Rhonda Oliver brings to H5 more than 15 years of business and legal services experience, most recently as a legal consultant for Bloomberg Law and Kroll Ontrack, where she advised attorneys and other professionals on solutions for litigation, compliance, research, and business intelligence. Ms. Oliver has also held business development and technical consulting positions at Microsoft, Duane Morris LLP, CT Tymetrix, and LexisNexis.
"It's rare to welcome even one person who possesses the level of experience and talent that we demand of our practice development team. I'm thrilled to be adding three such individuals," said Michael Rubenstein, H5's Managing Director of Sales and Practice Management. "With the expansion of our team, we're equipped to capitalize on growth opportunities in the coming year, particularly as the market recognizes the need for proven technology-assisted review expertise. I'm confident that Paul, Kel and Rhonda will strengthen H5's competitive position."
