OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2012) - Today, the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Canada's Labour Minister, congratulated the Great Canadian Railtour Company Ltd. and the Teamsters, Local 31, for successfully reaching a new collective agreement.

The Great Canadian Railtour Company Ltd. (which also does business as Rocky Mountaineer) is a tour company that offers western Canadian vacation packages. It operates trains on four rail routes through British Columbia and Alberta. The unit of 109 onboard attendants is responsible for providing guest services and commentary on the trains. The new collective agreement is the first between the Great Canadian Railtour Company Ltd. and Local 31, and is valid for a three-year term.
