(TSX VENTURE:GCU)(PINKSHEETS:GDCRF) ("Gold Canyon" or "the Company") announces that it has, pursuant to the Company's Rolling Stock Option Plan (the "Option Plan"), granted incentive stock options to certain directors, senior officers and employees to purchase an aggregate of 1,845,000 common shares. The stock options have a term of five (5) years, subject to one-third vesting of the grant every 6 months from grant day with full vesting in the first 18 months of the term, and have an exercise price of $1.36 per share, representing today's closing price of the Company's common shares as reported on the TSX Venture Exchange.
