CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 19, 2012) - GINSMS Inc. (TSX:GIN) announces that it will proceed with the closing of its previously announced acquisition of Inphosoft Group Pte. Ltd. on September 28, 2012. Originally planned to occur on or about September 14, 2012, the closing has been moved to the end of September so that it may coincide with the end of GINSMS second quarter and Inphosoft's third quarter. GINSMS expects trading in its common shares to resume during the first week of October 2012.
GINSMS owns 100% of Global Edge Technology, a technology company focused on providing inter-operator short messaging services to mobile telecom operators in Hong Kong. GINSMS's stated business objective is to become a leading short messaging service ("SMS") and data hubbing service provider to mobile network operators in Hong Kong and China and to establish an international SMS and value added services business.
