Quercus  Publishing Plc, the award-winning independent publisher in the digital, trade, contract, paperback
and  children's sectors, announces that it has today allotted 19,500 ordinary shares of 0.8 pence  each  in
the Company ("Ordinary Shares") following the exercise of options under the Company's EMI Option Scheme.

Following  the  exercise  of  these options, the issued share capital of the Company  comprises  20,545,620
Ordinary Shares.
