TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2012) - Minemakers Limited (TSX:MAK)(ASX:MAK)(NAMIBIAN:MMS) (Minemakers) in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1 requests the securities of Minemakers be placed in a trading halt pending the release of an announcement of a potential material asset disposal involving the company.

The trading halt is to end upon the release of an announcement prior to the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 26 September 2012.

Minemakers is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
