ESSEX, ENGLAND--(Marketwire - July 14, 2012) - Essex fire crews are set to take the stage during the Tom Morello/The Night Watchman set at the Hard Rock Calling festival in Hyde Park on 14 July. The set is anticipated to start at 14.50.
Essex fire crews are highlighting their dispute and strike action over cuts to the frontline 999 service and changes imposed without agreement. They are being forced to take strike action to defend their fire service.
Having already taken two sets of strike action, a further 24-hour strike is planned for 18th July starting at 09.00.
A demonstration, march and rally through Chelmsford is also planned for lunchtime on the 18th July.
