DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Aug 3, 2012) - ArtHouse Design (www.arthousedenver.com), a Denver-based graphic design studio offering branding, city branding, print, electronic, and 2D/3D way finding, signage design, and environmental graphic design services worldwide, today announced that it was part of the team that worked on Downtown Denver's 14th Street Redevelopment Project which received an award from the Downtown Denver Partnership. The 14th Street Redevelopment Project was implemented through a unique public-private partnership that included the City and County of Denver, Downtown Denver Partnership, Downtown Denver Business Improvement District, and 14th Street property owners.
Downtown Denver's 14th Street was targeted for significant improvement because of its proximity to the Colorado Convention Center, the Denver Performing Arts Complex, and five hotels. Improvements included expanded sidewalks, a dedicated bike lane, street corner bulb-outs, improved pedestrian lighting since there was quite a bit of foot traffic at night, way finding monuments, bike racks, benches, and landscaping.
ArtHouse Design designed the way finding, signage & city street branding for the 14th Street Redevelopment Project. Specific work included a logo for 14th Street; directional and informational banners and signage; and a series of dramatic, 22-foot-high kiosks that include signage, lighting, and directions to downtown Denver landmarks.
