FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 16, 2012) - DCG Systems, the leading provider of semiconductor debug and characterization solutions, announces the appointment of Bill Dillon as Director of Fremont Manufacturing. Mr. Dillon brings over 20 years of experience in semiconductor equipment service and manufacturing. He has had a number of notable roles including Vice President of Manufacturing at Credence Systems Corporation and Vice President of Operations at both NPTest Holding Corporation and Schlumberger Semiconductor Solutions. In his new role, Bill is responsible for leading DCG Fremont manufacturing through the on-going shipment growth. The Fremont site is responsible for the manufacturing of systems for the company's Circuit Analysis, Circuit Edit and InfraRed Inspection Systems divisions as well as supporting new product introduction for DCG's next-generation systems.

Besides his earlier roles at Credence, NPTest and Schlumberger, Bill has recently been Director at Morpho Detection, Inc. (formerly GE Security) where he lead the America's Services business, including service contract negotiations and building an operational network to perform to government contract requirements. He successfully implemented change methodologies utilizing his broad experience blending process intelligence, operational excellence, customer Known Performance Indicators management, data-based contract negotiations and training programs. The specific challenge was to improve customer satisfaction as per Net Promoter surveys. Bill dramatically improved customer operational metrics including system availability to 99.3% in 2011 and MTBCF to 1100 hrs in 2011. This translated into saving ~$8.2B for airlines annually.
Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry University.
