CRANBROOK, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 29, 2012) - CUPE Local 2773 workers at the College of the Rockies have voted 87 percent in favour of strike action. The membership tally was held last week and the votes were counted over the weekend. The local represents 120 support workers at the college.

Vancouver Community College took a strike vote last week and plans to start job action tomorrow by shutting down both of VCC's Vancouver campuses. Vancouver Island University held a strike vote today.
