Critical Elements Corporation Intersects 1.29% Li20 and 275 ppm Ta2O5 Over 5.90 Metres Near Surface


LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 9, 2011) -Critical Elements Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CRE) (OTCQX:CRECF) (FRANKFURT:F12) is pleased to announce the latest results of drilling on the Rose Tantalum-Lithium deposit. The table below shows the results for holes LR-11-167 and LR-11-172 to LR-11-181 drilled to test the eastern extension of the zones. All the holes intercepted the mineralized zones with similar grades to earlier results. Furthermore, some intersections returned particularly high tantalum grades, such as holes LR-11-167, LR-11-172 and LR-11-173, which yielded 549, 338 and 359 PPM TA2O5 respectively.

All these results will be included in the new resource evaluation already in progress.

All samples were sent for analysis in sealed containers to the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val-d'Or by employees of the Company. ALS Chemex is the laboratory used for analysis of all samples from programs on the Lac Pivert/Rose property. The samples are weighed and identified prior to sample preparation. The samples are crushed to 70% minus 2 mm, then separated and pulverized to 85% passing 75 micron m. All samples are analyzed using ICP-MS, with full analysis for 47 elements.

Critical Elements is actively developing its 100%-owned Rose lithium-tantalum flagship project located in Quebec. The project hosts a current Indicated resource of 11.4 million tonnes of 1.34% Li2O and 165 ppm Ta2O5 and Inferred resource of 2.1 million tonnes of 1.27% Li2O and 138 ppm Ta2O5.

Critical Elements' portfolio also includes rare-earth and tantalum-niobium projects in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia and in Quebec, as well as a 50% interest in the Croinor project, which is located in Quebec and contains a measured and indicated resource of 814,228 tonnes at 9.11 g/t Au, for 238,414 ounces of gold at a 5 g/t cut-off.
