COLORADO SPRINGS, CO--(Marketwire - Sep 25, 2012) - For its closely followed biannual survey, Consumer Reports obtained ratings from more than 47,500 readers on 102 table-service restaurant chains, ranging from high-end restaurants such as McCormick & Schmick's to family restaurants such as Friendly's. Scores were based on four categories: taste, service, mood and value. Four Corvirtus customers -- Abuelo's, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Houlihan's and BRAVO! Cucina Italiana -- achieved particularly high ratings in their respective market segments.

- For the third time in a row, Abuelo's, which operates 41 restaurants in 15 states, was rated as the nation's top Mexican restaurant chain. Abuelo's has been a Corvirtus customer since 2008. - Ruth's Chris Steakhouse was a close second in the steakhouse category. - Operating 82 restaurants in 18 states, Houlihan's placed a close third out of 22 chains in the pub style/grill category. - BRAVO! Cucina Italiana was one of nine chains recognized for across-the-board high marks in all categories. The restaurant company also placed second in the Italian restaurant category.
