Mr. Boomer was a partner at a big four accounting firm and has a Canadian C.A., a U.S. CPA, an Economics degree and 25 years of experience advising public and private corporations. He has a consistent track record of performance and delivery of a wide variety of services including:
- Working with national, international and global companies
- Leading large multi-disciplinary teams and assisting clients in mergers, acquisitions, financings and other capital market transactions, both domestically and internationally
- Advising a wide range of growth oriented companies' executive management teams and boards on developing and executing business strategies
The Corporation's executive team expects to benefit from Mr. Boomer's solid foundation of leadership skills and his finance, accounting, and oilfield industry expertise.
Matthew Braaten, C.A., who has been the Corporation's CFO since his appointment in May 2011, has left the Corporation to pursue new opportunities.
