The Generator, which is intended as a starting point for generating privacy policies for US-based, consumer-targeted websites, will help companies:
- Better understand internal data collection, use, and disclosure practices;
- Build consumer trust by conveying what information they collect and how they may use consumer information in a simple and easy-to-understand manner; and
- Start the process of complying with applicable privacy laws
The Generator was developed in conjunction with Wizdocs, Inc. a Mountain View-based company with the singular mission of making corporate transactions and legal document management more efficient and cost effective. Founded by Ben Longoria, an M&A attorney who has represented clients with acquisitions valued in the billions of dollars, Wizdocs Inc.'s software helps companies and law firms take control over their legal documents and processes, allowing them to become more efficient.
