Continental Gold Limited (TSX:CNL)(OTCQX:CGOOF) ("Continental" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced bought deal offering (the "Offering") of 9,039,000 common shares (the "Common Shares") at a price of $9.55 per Common Share for aggregate gross proceeds of $86,322,450, including 1,179,000 Common Shares issued pursuant to the full exercise by the underwriters of the over-allotment option.
The Offering was conducted by a syndicate of underwriters led by Dundee Capital Markets and including Clarus Securities Inc., GMP Securities L.P., TD Securities Inc., RBC Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets.
The net proceeds from the Offering will be used for the continued exploration and development of the Buriticá project and for general corporate purposes.
