HONG KONG--(Marketwire - Sep 20, 2012) -  Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited ("Comba Telecom" or "Comba" or "the Group") (HKSE: 2342), a global leading wireless solutions provider, has been awarded a contract by the Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited (BMCL) to provide an end-to-end wireless solution to enable 2G and 3G voice and data communications throughout the underground railway network.

Opened in 2004, the BMCL's Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) in Bangkok serves over 240,000 passengers daily and comprises of 18 stations, concourses, tunnels, platforms, and retail stores within the concourses. BMCL has the exclusive rights to undertake all commercial activities and developments from its premises, including its wholly-owned neutral host network to support wireless telecommunications services.

Under the agreement, Comba Telecom will be replacing the legacy 2G system with a multi-system (2G/3G) active distributed antenna system (DAS) solution which includes the supply of DAS repeaters, antennas, passive equipment, cabling and services such as RF design, installation, optimization and maintenance.
