Columbus Closes Acquisition of TeleBarbados and Tele St. Lucia

Columbus Business Solutions and Flow to Enter Market

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS--(Marketwire - Sep 26, 2012) - Columbus International Inc. ("Columbus") announced today that it has completed the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of TeleBarbados Inc. and Tele St. Lucia Inc. The acquisition will position Columbus to bring both wholesale and retail broadband-enabled services to both markets.

TeleBarbados currently operates a facilities-based telecommunications network that includes over 60 kilometers of high-count fiber located primarily in the commercial core of Barbados. The network currently provides telephony and data services to over 500 commercial clients spanning a variety of industries, and more than 2,300 residential customers; all supported by a highly skilled work force of 58 employees. This marks the third acquisition for Columbus in 2012 and its 28th since 2005.

Columbus' ceo, Brendan Paddick said: "TeleBarbados has been an integral part of the Barbados telecom industry since May 2006. We are proud of the value they have created in Barbados and look forward to building upon their legacy. With Columbus' recent award of a host of new telecom licenses from the Division of Energy and Telecommunications of the Government of Barbados, there is no doubt that the closing of this transaction today provides for us with an excellent base upon which to build".
