Cole Capital Expands Capital Markets Capabilities With Addition of Jeffrey Holland as Executive Vice President
Cole Taps Former COO of BlackRock's U.S. Retail Division as Head of Capital Markets
PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - December 15, 2010) - Cole Capital, one of the nation's largest sponsors of public, non-traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) that invest in income-producing commercial real estate, announced that Jeffrey Holland has joined the company as executive vice president and head of capital markets. The announcement was made by Marc Nemer, president of Cole Real Estate Investments (Cole REIT).
In this role, Mr. Holland will provide strategic direction and oversee all aspects of Cole Capital Markets, the distribution company of Cole Real Estate Investments. This includes external and internal sales, marketing, broker-dealer relations, due diligence, and securities operations.

Mr. Holland is a 15-year industry veteran and acknowledged leader in the capital markets arena. Immediately prior to joining Cole, Mr. Holland was the chief operating officer of BlackRock's U.S. retail division, a $275 billion AUM business focused on financial advisor-intermediated distribution channels. He was primarily responsible for corporate strategy, financial management and leading new business initiatives that cross distribution channels. He previously served as Co-Head of Product Development and Management at BlackRock's U.S. retail division. Prior to BlackRock, Mr. Holland was with Raymond James & Associates, where he was the head of separately managed accounts and mutual fund wrap programs. Earlier in his career, Mr. Holland was a strategic consultant at McKinsey & Co. He has a significant track record of success in financial services in creating and implementing strategic plans to meet and exceed growth targets.
Mr. Holland earned a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from the University of Puget Sound.
