GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 16, 2012) - Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of the closure of the Alexandra Bridge located between Ottawa and Gatineau, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21, 2012.

This closure is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.

Motorists are asked to use either the Portage Bridge or the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge during this time.

Pedestrians will not be affected by this closure.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
