A Thanksgiving Celebration of Music

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 19, 2012) - Mount Royal Kantorei (KAN-to-rye) invites you to "Give. Thanks." a benefit concert for the Calgary Food Bank at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium at 2:30pm on Sunday, September 30th.

Give. Thanks. is a Thanksgiving celebration of music featuring the choral sounds of Mount Royal Kantorei with special guests including the Calgary Stampede Showband, A Band of Outriders, Spritus Chamber Choir, Calgary Children's Choir, D.B. Morton, and the Heebee-jeebees and hosted by Angela Knight from the Calgary Eyeopener (CBC Radio One).

Tickets are available through the Mount Royal University ticket line (403.440.7770) and online at www.kantorie.ca. Adult tickets are $15, Students and Seniors $10, Children (age 3-12) $5. All patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the Calgary Food Bank.

Mount Royal Kantorei is an auditioned adult choir of the Mount Royal Conservatory. Formed in 1995 by renowned Calgary-based choral director David Ferguson, Kantorei is a prominent and respected musical component in Calgary's cultural landscape.
