TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2012) - BluMont Capital Corporation ("BluMont Capital") announced today that merger of Exemplar Market Neutral Portfolio (the "Market Neutral Portfolio") into Exemplar Yield Fund (the "Yield Fund") has been completed.
The termination of the Market Neutral Portfolio was effected as of September 14, 2012. In that regard, BluMont Capital afforded shareholders of the Market Neutral Portfolio (the "Shareholders") the ability to participate in the wind-up of the Market Neutral Portfolio as the Effective Date by way of an in-kind transfer of their investment to the Yield Fund.
The exchange ratios, based on the final net asset value of the Market Neutral Portfolio and the September 14, 2012 net asset value of the Yield Fund Shareholders outlined below. The Market Neutral Portfolio termination did not occur on a tax-deferred basis and Shareholders should consult with their tax advisors in this regard.

The management fees charged to the Yield Fund are lower than those charged to the Market Neutral Portfolio and there is no performance incentive fee charged to the Yield Fund.
