Blue Jeans Network Rolls Out "All You Can Meet" Plans Driving Faster Adoption of Video Conferencing Across Organizations of All Sizes

The World's Most Interoperable Video Collaboration Service Now Offers Unlimited-Use Site-Licenses for as Little as $10 per Active User per Month

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - May 7, 2013) - Blue Jeans Network, the global leader in interoperable video collaboration services, today announced the availability of a new 'All You Can Meet' pricing plan. This new plan lets companies easily deploy, use and scale video conferencing across the organization for one low fixed price, without the fear of variable costs or overage fees. The unlimited-use, site-wide license allows every user in the organization to schedule and host video meetings through their own Blue Jeans account, allowing up to 25 participants per meeting. And with Blue Jeans' unmatched breadth of interoperability, participants can choose to use any of the business and consumer endpoints (Cisco, Polycom, Lifesize, Microsoft Lync, Skype, Google Video, WebRTC Browser, mobile devices, etc.) supported by the service to take advantage of the robust audio, video and content sharing capabilities Blue Jeans is already known for.

The new tiered offering is based on company size and features an attractive low annual fee that is determined by the number of "active users" within the company. An active user is an account holder that hosts at least one meeting per month. The cost per active user ranges from just $50 per user per month to as little as $10 per user per month based on the size of the deployment.

Over the last few months, these plans were trialed as a "right size" sales promotion to a small subset of customers in select geographies. The intent was to assess customer interest in this type of plan and to understand customer behavior and adoption patterns. The program was a resounding success with over 100 new and existing customers participating. On average, over their first four months, these customers grew their usage of the Blue Jeans service at almost 10 times the rate of other customers and expanded their active user base (those users that hosted at least one meeting a month) at approximately six times the standard rate.

"Based on the phenomenal results we saw from our promotional offering earlier this year, and the affirmation from our customers that Blue Jeans meets a critical business need, we realized that we could remove the final barrier to widespread adoption by making the service even more cost-effective at scale for companies of all sizes," said Stu Aaron, Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Jeans. "The new 'All You Can Meet' plans, paired with Blue Jeans' easy-to-use interface, self-serve model and industry leading interoperability, democratizes video throughout an organization, while vastly increasing productivity and alleviating pressure on company resources and expenses."

Until now, IT departments have painstakingly struggled to manage the complexity of legacy video conferencing deployments constantly having to factor in cost, user numbers and infrastructure. The 'All You Can Meet' plan removes the guesswork out of deploying video conferencing within an organization. Up until Blue Jeans, no single vendor had been able to address all of the barriers that have stood in the way of truly pervasive video adoption. This plan frees IT departments from having to calculate or manage user licenses, analyze usage patterns or worry about which endpoints users will connect from. It has already been successful with both new and existing Blue Jeans customers.

"With more than 10 video systems deployed globally, we needed a cost-effective bridging solution to connect all of our locations," said Matt Leonard, IT Director for Tapjoy, a new Blue Jeans customer. "We were sold on Blue Jeans because of their intuitive interface, ease of use, instant deployment model and competitive price point. With Blue Jeans' unlimited-use, 'All You Can Meet' plan, there was no question we'd found a prime solution. Since we started using Blue Jeans, we have exponentially increased our video usage while keeping costs low, dramatically extending our collaboration capabilities and increasing productivity."

Corvisa Services LLC, an existing Blue Jeans customer who purchased the service last year, and recently upgraded to an 'All You Can Meet' plan is also extremely pleased with the new offering. "We use Blue Jeans Network for nearly all of our multi-person calls. With approximately 700 employees and 6 office locations between our sister companies, plus remote employees working from home, it results in a lot of meetings," said Katie Kregel, Director of Marketing for Corvisa Services LLC. "Blue Jeans' 'All You Can Meet' option was an obvious choice and we couldn't be happier. Not only have we seen significant savings in interoffice travel costs but we're able to foster better, more meaningful real-time collaboration -- it's exactly what every business wants."

"Blue Jeans has set the bar high in terms of quality, features, and ease of use with their cloud-based meet-me video conferencing service," said Ira M. Weinstein, senior analyst & partner, Wainhouse Research. The combination of the company's new 'All You Can Meet' plan, exceptional interoperability, and broad range of connectivity options is making video conferencing more accessible and more cost-effective, which is paving the way for company-wide video deployments."

For companies that may not be looking for a site wide deployment, Blue Jeans has also revamped some of its other plans to include more attractive per host pricing, lower ports pricing and revised minutes plans. Specific price points will differ in markets outside of North America.
