                                      "Avoca" Licences awarded to IMC
                                                     
The  directors  of  IMC  Exploration Group Plc are delighted to announce that  IMC  has  been  awarded  two
additional prospecting licences, PL Area 3849 and PL Area 3850 (both in Co. Wicklow) by the Exploration and
Mining  Division  of the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.  These  licence  areas
include  the  historic  Avoca  mine and are close to where IMC had its recent  significant  gold  discovery
yielding  354g/t gold (=11.38oz/t gold).  IMC now holds four contiguous exploration licence  areas  in  Co.
Wicklow.
