Quercus Publishing Appoints new Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Quercus Publishing Plc ("Quercus", the "Group" or the "Company"), the award-winning independent
publisher in the digital, trade, contract, paperback and children's sectors is pleased to announce
the appointment of Colin Adams as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, with effect from
17th September 2012. Mr Adams was formerly Group Finance Director of Bloomsbury Publishing Plc and,
more recently, Huntsworth Plc, a global PR and healthcare communications group.
The Company also announces the resignation of Finance Director, Paul Lenton, as of 27thJuly 2012. Mr
Lenton is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
Mark Smith, CEO, said "Colin's appointment as CFO and COO is the next stage in restructuring and
strengthening the senior executive team and Quercus and I look forward to Colin joining us in
September. I would like to thank Paul for his contribution to the company and we wish him well for the
future."
