AMIMON'S WHDI Receives HDCP Certification From Digital Content Protection
SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - December 20, 2007) - AMIMON
Inc., an emerging leader in semiconductor technology for wireless
transmission of high-definition (HD) video, today announced that its
Wireless High-definition Interface (WHDI™) solution has been approved
for use with digital content protected by the High-bandwidth Digital
Content Protection (HDCP) specification. Digital Content Protection (DCP
LLC), licensor of the HDCP content protection technology specification, has
granted AMIMON's WHDI
solution authorization as an Approved Retransmission Technology (ART).
AMIMON's WHDI chipset enables new wireless HDTV
applications such as wireless HDTVs, wireless multimedia projectors, and
wireless HD video accessories ("wireless for HDMI"
dongles), offering consumers new and simpler options to connect HD sources
to displays throughout the home.

equivalent video data rates of up to 3 Gbps (including 1080p) using 40 MHz
