Allied Electronics Signs Distribution Agreement With Siemens Corporation

FORT WORTH, TX--(Marketwire - Sep 17, 2012) - Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), recently signed a distribution agreement with Siemens Corporation. Siemens Corporation is a U.S. subsidiary of Siemens AG, a global powerhouse in electronics and electrical engineering operating in the industry, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure and cities sectors.

Allied is now an authorized distributor for Siemens' low-voltage products, including motor controls, pilot devices and communication devices. Siemens will appear for the first time in Allied's 2013 Catalog, which will be released in October.
