CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Jan. 18, 2013) - Alberta Snowboarding Association

Evolve and Lake Louise will once again host an open snowboard cross event this season at the Lake Louise Ski Area. This event will take place on January 19 and 20, 2013 (2 separate events- 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday). The event will be an open event, anyone is welcome to come and race (ASA membership required and available on site). There will be age categories as follows 14 & under, 15-17, 18+ (open to change if numbers dictate), for men and women. This is a perfect event for those new to the sport looking to try it out, or for those that have been around for a long time and are looking for more races to do.
