Zocalo Tech Signs IRTG as Rep for Assertion-Based Verification Software

Seasoned, Dedicated Sales Team to Promote Zazz Product Family

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - November 2, 2010) -  Zocalo Tech, Inc, an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) company based in Austin , TX and focused on Assertion-Based Verification (ABV) productivity software, announced that it has signed Innovative Resource Technology Group (IRTG) as its representative. IRTG will promote, sell and support Zocalo Tech's Zazz™ software in the Western USA.

Zocalo Tech's Zazz software simplifies and supports the adoption of an ABV methodology to improve electronic design and Intellectual Property (IP) quality and increase verification productivity. Zazz addresses the major issues that have kept ABV from wide scale acceptance: Where do I add assertions? What is the cost for adding assertions? How do I cost effectively move from an ad hoc use of simple assertions to the systematic use of more complex and temporal assertions?

"Interest in and demand for our ABV products continues to grow," remarked Howard Martin, President of Zocalo Tech. "After this year's Design Automation Conference we needed to add an experienced team to address the growing interest in the Western Region, and IRTG proved itself to have the skills and resources we needed to support our customers and prospects."

"We are very familiar with the value of ABV for improving electronic and IP design quality," said Robert Biczek, Partner at IRTG. "We are already working with companies who have added or are interested in adding Zazz to their design and verification flows.

Zocalo Tech was on GarySmithEDA's What To See at the 47th Design Automation Conference list, and recently published a white paper Introduction to Assertions for Design Engineers by Eric Deal of Cyclic Design.
