SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 2, 2012) - Yammer, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Social Networks, today announced an integration with Kanjoya, a company pioneering emotion-aware sentiment analysis, to provide data on the attitudes and perceptions of employees based on the conversations from within a Yammer network.
Kanjoya's Crane analytics dashboard uses Yammer's open APIs to retrieve data from Yammer groups and the overall company network, powering a robust analytics dashboard that allows organizations to gauge emotions across departments and geographies.
For example, when an HR manager announces a change to her company's health benefits, she can view the Crane analytics dashboard to gain insight into employees' responses, quickly determining if the prevailing emotion is "surprised," "annoyed," or one of 80 distinct emotions. If the change only affects workers in Europe, she can take advantage of the group-level analytics to view sentiment drawn specifically from the "London Team" group on Yammer.
Kanjoya's Crane for Yammer includes the following features and benefits:
- Keyword Search - Search for analytics on a specific topic
- Sentiment Graph - Compares the volume of actual emotions such as joy, excitement, surprise, anger, etc.
- Word cloud - Visualization of the specific words associated with trending conversations
- Influencer analysis - Showcases the most replied to, most praised and most liked individuals
Pricing and Availability
The integration is available immediately for all Yammer Enterprise users. Verified admins can sign up for a free Crane account to enable the integration for up to 30 days, and can contact Kanjoya about pricing during the 30-day trial period.
