Willowstar Capital Inc. Announces Termination of Qualifying Transaction With Takatu

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 21, 2009) - Willowstar Capital Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WWM.P) ("Willowstar") announces that its previously announced Qualifying Transaction with Takatu Minerals Ltd. has been terminated. With the global economic downturn, it has been determined that the financing necessary for completion of this transaction is not available at the present time and, accordingly, the transaction will not be proceeding. Willowstar will, accordingly, continue to seek out alternative transactions for the completion of a Qualifying Transaction.
