Wherify Wireless Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - August 22, 2007) - Wherify Wireless, Inc. (OTCBB: WFYW), a leader in personal location GPS products and services, today announced the Board of Directors of Wherify Wireless, Inc. appointed Jacqueline Nevilles to serve as the company's senior vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Jacqueline comes to Wherify Wireless from Price Waterhouse Coopers where she was responsible for the company's accounting and corporate finance functions. She also ran the company's strategic Information Technology Systems and Sarbanes-Oxley process improvement programs. Prior to joining Price Waterhouse, Jacqueline was senior director of finance for Oracle Corp., where she managed accounting and finance, information systems and sales management functions. Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of San Francisco and a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
