Westar Energy Schedules Conference Call to Discuss Third Quarter 2008 Results

TOPEKA, KS--(Marketwire - October 17, 2008) - On Nov. 7, 2008, Westar Energy, Inc. (NYSE: WR) will release third quarter 2008 earnings before market open.
