Fong to its board of directors. Mr. Fong has over 35 years of experience in the energy business, the last 28 years being with the Royal Bank of Canada where, upon his retirement in May 2009, he held the position of Global Head of Corporate Banking, Energy with RBC Capital Markets. Mr. Fong has extensive experience and contacts with oil and gas producers, oilfield service providers and utility companies both in Canada and abroad. He has been extensively involved in energy financing from both a corporate banking and investment banking perspective. Mr. Fong is a professional engineer currently serving as an advisor to the Alberta Energy Department's Competitive Review process. He also serves as Chair of UNICEF Canada and Chair of Education Matters.
