Violin Memory, Microsoft and HP Post a Leadership TPC-E Benchmark Result
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - June 29, 2010) - Violin Memory, Inc., provider of the world's fastest and most scalable memory arrays, has achieved a leading Blade Server TPC-E benchmark in partnership with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and HP's latest ProLiant blade server offering. The TPC-E benchmark simulates the workload of a brokerage firm's central database. This benchmark demands both low latencies and fast response times. It is utilized by vendors to demonstrate system solutions for realistic and representative workloads commonly addressed by large OLTP systems.
