Universal Robotics Names Ross Duncan Sales Manager

Technology Company Expands Team With Seasoned Strategic Sales Executive to Oversee Sales of Innovative Software Solutions


NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwire - January 5, 2011) - Universal Robotics, Inc. has named Ross Duncan as its Sales Manager. Duncan brings more than 30 years of sales experience within the technology industry to Universal. As Sales Manager he will oversee sales of the company's software products and engineering, expand its sales pipeline and introduce its products to new customers and markets.

He joins Universal from Zonit Structured Solutions, LLC, where he served as Vice President Sales & Marketing. Prior to Zonit, he was Vice President of Channels, Identity & Access for Gemalto, Inc., where he pioneered the commercial use of Smart Cards, increasing US sales revenue from $1 million to $25 million in less than three years.

Duncan also has served as President of 5Bridge Open Solutions, Inc., and President and Founder of OMA, Inc. Other corporations for which he has worked include Access Graphics, where he led a merger with General Electric, Distribution Resources Company, Hewlett-Packard and Burroughs Corporation.
