Tim Ferriss Joins Evernote as Strategic Advisor

Lifestyle Design Expert to Advise on Company's Productivity Direction

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - May 18, 2010) -  Evernote, makers of the multi-platform memory enhancing service, today announced the addition of Tim Ferriss, author of New York Times bestseller The 4-Hour Workweek, to their Board of Advisors. Evernote's goal is to give its users near-perfect memory by allowing them to save and find their ideas and experiences whenever and wherever they like. Ferriss, a productivity and life management expert, will provide strategic counsel as Evernote continues to develop and grow its service into new regions and markets.

"Evernote was a fantastic asset while I wrote my last book and has since become an integral part of my everyday workflow," said Tim Ferriss. "In the past year, Evernote has made tremendous strides to become friendlier and more accessible for information-burdened people. I'm excited to join Evernote's effort to help simplify lives and relieve stress by giving everyone a better memory."

Evernote is recognized as a powerful resource for individuals that follow Ferriss' 4-Hour Workweek and "lifestyle design" ideologies, which foster better productivity and better living. Ferriss initially learned of Evernote from his Twitter community and began using the service to make his life and projects more efficient. In his new advisory role, Ferriss will lend his expertise on lifestyle design to the company's development strategy.

"We're thrilled to have Tim join as an advisor. His views on self-improvement are a perfect complement to our vision," said Phil Libin, Evernote CEO. "Tim has inspired people across the globe to live better, more efficient lives. We plan on working closely with Tim as we continue to improve Evernote to better serve our growing user community."
