CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--(Marketwire - June 27, 2008) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources
(Sugar Land, Texas) -- ThyssenKrupp CSA Siderurgica do Atlantico (Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil) will inaugurate a 495-megawatt (MW) cogeneration power
plant in Santa Cruz, 60 kilometers west of Rio de Janeiro, in March 2009.
The power plant will generate 200 MW devoted to a joint-venture steel mill
of ThyssenKrupp CSA and Vale (NYSE:RIO) (Rio de Janeiro). A further 290 MW
of power will be supplied to the Brazilian national grid.
