PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - September 30, 2008) - The Atlantic City Wine and Food Festival opens October 17, 2008, and for the first time ever, The Wine School of Philadelphia is headlining the three-day event.

The festival features many wine and food celebrities from across the nation, including the Food Network's Tyler Florence and Duff Goldman, and the Wine School's Brian Freedman and David Snyder. Florence plays television host on "Food 911" and "Tyler's Ultimate," while Goldman showcases his baking and artistry skills on "Ace of Cakes." Brian Freedman and David Snyder are two of the most engaging and important food and wine notables on the east coast.

Both Freedman and Snyder will be featured in The Wine School's Premier Wine Room. Along with hourly classes and special tastings, attendees will have the opportunity to taste hundreds of wines from around the world. The Wine School's exemplary staff will be on hand to answer any questions, as will proprietors and winemakers from several of the wineries represented.
