TORRANCE, CA--(Marketwire - April 16, 2009) - The Technology Council of Southern California announced today the finalists for the 15th annual Technology Industry Awards. The awards will be presented at the gala dinner event on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and will honor individuals and companies that play a significant role in advancing Southern California as a center for technological innovation. Dr. Christopher Thornberg, founding principal of Beacon Economics, will deliver the keynote, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. PDT.

"The 2009 Technology Industry Awards finalists have demonstrated tremendous leadership and resilience, not only surviving the economic downturn but also growing and excelling in this uncertain climate," said Richard Sharga, Technology Council. "The finalists serve as true examples to all companies and entrepreneurs seeking to flourish in Southern California, and beyond."
