Team Canada 72 Offers Their Jersey to the Canadian Olympic Teams for 2010 in Vancouver

Team Canada 72 and Ficel Marketing Corp., Team Canada's marketing agency of record are offering the Official and First Ever Team Canada jersey from 1972, to our Olympic Athletes in 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

This jersey has become the most recognizable hockey jersey in Canadian Sports History.

Team Canada 1972 has been voted "Canada's Team of the Century" by Canadians. It is our belief that if Canadians had the opportunity today to vote on the style of jersey our athletes would wear in 2010, the vote would be overwhelmingly in favour of the 1972 jersey.

This Team Canada jersey evoked the passion for the sport in 1972 and brought Canadians together as a nation to rally behind their athletes who represented them.

Most recently the '72 jersey was worn once again for one game only in Winnipeg by our Canadian World Junior Team for the "Canada Russia Super Series" in 2007. Team Canada 72 made the jersey available as a gesture of handing down a legacy to the New Generation of athletes.
