New TRITTON SEE2 Xtreme Drives Multi-Tasking Applications at Home and Work, Enabling Users to Connect Multiple Displays Over USB 2.0 for Mac and PC Users
VISTA, CA--(Marketwire - August 5, 2008) - TRITTON
Technologies, a pioneering leader in USB external video card
technology, today announced the launch of the SEE2 Xtreme. The long awaited Mac-compatible version delivers on
the promise of providing an external USB 2.0 video card solution for Apple users. An ideal solution for
multi-tasking, the SEE2 Xtreme enables users to connect multiple displays to their computer. The SEE2 Xtreme is now
shipping for an MSRP of $119.99 through TRITTON's network of online and
retail partners.
With the SEE2 Xtreme, users can power up to six additional displays through
available USB 2.0 ports -- to
increase productivity and versatility in graphic design, video editing,
desktop publishing, financial modeling, multimedia, and other applications.
The external video card supports up to 1920 x 1200 and supports widescreen
and rotated screen resolutions.
Patented technology offers three video configurations to extend viewing
possibilities in a wide range of applications. Extended Desktop mode
creates a larger overall viewing area by combining the primary screen and
external display. Primary Desktop Mode uses the external monitor as a
primary display. And Mirrored Desktop Mode duplicates the picture on both
the primary screen and the additional display.
Key features include:
-- Supports up to 1920 x 1200 for DVI and VGA
-- Supports widescreen and rotated screen resolutions
-- Supports video playback
-- Features mirrored, primary, and extended viewing modes
-- Includes DVI to VGA adapter
The SEE2 Xtreme is compatible with any desktop or notebook computer running
Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Mac OS X 10.4 or greater with an available USB
2.0 port. Up to six SEE2 Xtreme units can be added to a single computer
for PC and up to four on a Mac. Mac mini users now have an answer to add
additional displays.
