TBA Global Announces TBA DEEP
"Digital Entertainment Engagement Programming" Group Creates and Distributes Branded Programming
LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - May 8, 2008) - Connective marketing and communications
leader TBA Global has formed TBA DEEP, a new thought leadership group
focused on the creation of branded content for Fortune 500 companies. The
TBA DEEP division was created due to the success of TBA Global's recent
branded entertainment programs for clients such as McDonald's, Ford, Chivas, and MTV.
"Our new TBA DEEP offering will create and deliver content to help clients
connect their brands with consumers on a deeper and more substantial
level," states Lee Rubenstein, President and COO of TBA Global. "Our
emphasis on great content, with innovative live and digital distribution
will create the audience engagement that translates into measurable
increases in loyalty, recognition, favorability and sales."
The TBA DEEP team is led by Brian J. Murphy, widely recognized as a leader
in the fields of entertainment marketing and branded entertainment. He has
assembled a team of experts in content development, distribution, branded
entertainment, creative, digital media, television and video production,
design, consumer marketing and live events.
"TBA DEEP activates and deploys the power of popular culture in service to
our clients' brands and messages," said Murphy, Executive Vice President of
TBA DEEP. "We are creating the future of how brands will be optimally
expressed in a converged, digital marketplace."
TBA Global's heritage is in entertainment. It is owned by respected
entertainment veterans including co-chairman Irving Azoff, a leader in the
entertainment industry who also heads the world's foremost talent
management company, Frontline Management. Frontline Management's artist
roster includes the Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Van Halen, Neil Diamond and
many others.
While with TBA Global, Brian Murphy created some of the earliest
large-scale branded entertainment programs. His creative vision and
artistic expertise have culminated in exceptional live, televised and
internet programming. These landmark programs include Rockfest (the largest
single-day ticketed rock event in the United States), Music In High Places,
and MTV's long running Hard Rock Live music series.
Prior to rejoining TBA Global, Murphy was Founder and CEO of Fearless
Entertainment. He also spent a decade as Executive Vice President of Warner
Music Group, and formed the joint venture Warner/Avalon (which later became
Warner/TBA). While there, he co-authored the first joint divisional
strategic marketing program between General Motors and Warner Bros.
Films/Warner Music Group, which was one of the progenitors of the
developing field of branded entertainment.
