StrongMail Strengthens Management Team With Key Hires and Appointments
Tal Nathan From Epsilon and Scott Ollivier From Responsys Fill Strategic Client Service and Product Marketing Positions; Kristin Hersant Promoted to Vice President of Corporate Marketing
REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - August 30, 2010) - StrongMail, a leading provider of online marketing solutions for email and social media, today announced that it has strengthened its management team with the hiring of Tal Nathan as vice president of client services, Scott Ollivier as director of product marketing and the promotion of Kristin Hersant to vice president of corporate marketing. Nathan and Ollivier are industry veterans who have held long-standing strategic positions at Epsilon and Responsys, while Hersant brings more than 14 years of corporate marketing experience to her new role.

Nathan will be heading up client services for both StrongMail and ThreadMarketing, where he will ensure that clients receive the highest level of professional service available in today's competitive marketplace. Previously, Nathan served as vice president and general manager of client services for Epsilon, where he led online strategy for the company's top-tier clients, with a focus on the retail, travel and financial verticals. Prior to Epsilon, he was the vice president of client engineering at infoGroup, where he led and managed integration services for its Yesmail division. Nathan holds a BS in mechanical engineering from UCLA.
Since joining StrongMail in 2004, Hersant has spearheaded its corporate marketing efforts, which have been instrumental in fueling the company's strong growth and industry reputation. As vice president of corporate marketing, Hersant will develop integrated marketing programs to drive awareness and generate demand for the products and services offered by StrongMail and ThreadMarketing. Hersant is an active voice in the email and social media marketing communities, regularly contributing to industry publications and events. Most recently, Hersant managed global marketing for Mindjet, where she helped increase global sales by 20 percent. Prior to Mindjet, Hersant played a pivotal marketing role at L90, where she helped lead the company to its highly successful IPO in 2000. Hersant holds a BA in history from UCLA.
As director of product marketing, Ollivier will leverage his extensive industry experience to help build and deliver cutting-edge solutions for interactive marketers. Most recently, Ollivier led product management and key partner and product marketing efforts for Responsys, resulting in extensive company growth and customer success over his 10-year tenure. Prior to Responsys, Ollivier served in solution engineering and project management roles at Electronic Data Systems. Ollivier earned BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
