Streetwear Clothing Company, Wildchild Nation, Launches Threader, an Online Urban Clothing Marketplace
LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 15, 2009) - Streetwear clothing company,
Wildchild Nation, launches Threader, the first online streetwear marketplace for
choreographers and entertainers. "I looked at my peers in the choreography
industry and realized many had streetwear for sale at events and whom have
a huge audience, but were missing a way to reach their fans," says Luam,
hip hop choreographer/dancer and co-founder of Wildchild Nation. "We've
built the infrastructure behind our streetwear brand to be able to provide
the online distribution they were lacking. It was a natural growth of our
streetwear clothing business."
Threader brings cohesion to the street dance industry in bringing all of
the major choreographers and entertainers together on one site. "We have
long been looking for a way to unify the industry, enabling cross promotion
of everyone's fan base. Threader is the first e-commerce streetwear portal
which achieves that goal." The site features the celebrities themselves
modeling their merchandise, leverages social media to create an engaging
user experience, and streamlines the purchasing process.
Threader has already been well received in the streetwear industry with
many entertainers inquiring about distributing their streetwear brand
through the service. One of the first partners to launch on the site is
Dance2XS, a leader in international dance and entertainment talent. "Our
large international following have asked us for ways to purchase our
merchandise, but we haven't been able to effectively manage the
distribution of our streetwear until now," says Patrick Chen, Founder and
CEO of Dance 2XS. Other partners currently available on the site include
the AmountBoyz, Laurieann Gibson, Tatoot, and Wildchild Nation's own
streetwear brand, Wildchild.
Wildchild Nation will continue to announce new partners on Threader as it
grows its service offering. Visit the Websites for more information about
