Customers in Japan with StorageCraft ShadowProtect 2.x are now eligible to receive a free upgrade to ShadowProtect 3.1 until August 3, 2008. This upgrade offer includes ShadowProtect Server Edition™ 3.1, ShadowProtect Desktop Edition™ 3.1 and ShadowProtect IT Edition™ 3.1.

StorageCraft ShadowProtect™ 3.1 includes hardware independent restore (HIR) features, allowing IT administrators to backup, restore or migrate server, desktop and laptop systems to any environment, whether physical or virtual. In addition, StorageCraft ShadowProtect can migrate to new systems with tremendous flexibility -- whether from a physical machine to another physical machine (P2P), a physical to a virtual machine (P2V), a virtual machine to another virtual machine (V2V) or even from a virtual machine to a physical machine (V2P). To receive a free upgrade, existing StorageCraft ShadowProtect 2.x customers should submit copies of their license certificates and/or proof of purchase to StorageCraft by August 3, 2008. This offer is available for customers with multiple licenses, as well as those who received a ShadowProtect license bundled with a computer system.
