LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - July 24, 2008) - Silvio's Brazilian BBQ, founded in 2003 by restaurateur Doug Howarth and "Grill Master" Silvio Correa, announces the official grand opening of their flagship bar and grill concept on the bustling, picturesque Pier Promenade in Hermosa Beach, CA. The company, known throughout Southern California for its special events catering and food vending services, as well as its sponsorships of local community programs and sporting events, will open Silvio's Bar & Grill on Monday, August 11, 2008.

"The menu is typical of what you would find at a traditional backyard BBQ held every day in Brazil in all corners of the country," remarked Howarth. "Our goal with the bar and grill is to give customers a home away from home, a place to relax and enjoy great food in a friendly atmosphere every day of the week... and having the beach less than 100 ft. away isn't such a bad thing either."

Signature menu items will include Silvio's World Famous Carnaval Plate, Garlic Picanha, the Giant BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Brazilian Style Tri-Tip Grilled with Rock Salt and Beer, Ipanema Salad, and the Bahia Rice Bowl. Silvio's will also serve up its fair share of fruit-infused, Brazilian inspired drinks including Jungle Juice, The Crazy Brasileira, and The California Colada. On the weekends, Thursday through Saturday, the bar and grill will offer a special late night menu and drink specials until 2:30am.

Silvio's bar and grill is located at 20 Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, CA. Hours of operation are: Monday 11am-10pm; Tuesday-Wednesday 11am-12am; Thursday-Friday 11am-2:30am; Saturday 8am-2:30am; Sunday 8am-10pm.
