Sidon Receives Priority Status Comfort Letter for Saskatchewan Coal Properties
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 29, 2008) - SIDON INTERNATIONAL RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:SD)(FRANKFURT:SY7) - Sidon International Resources wishes to announce that it has received a letter of comfort from the Government of Saskatchewan in regards to the coal application submitted by the company (See news release of June 26, 2008). The application encompasses 18,432 hectares (approximately 45,546 acres) in east-central Saskatchewan in the area of the recent Goldsource Mines coal discovery.

Mr. Alawas stated, "Management is optimistic about the future of the company. Having priority on the coal applications recently submitted and the expectation of the Potash approval forthcoming, will enable Sidon to be active on multiple prospects in the second half of 2008."
