PLACENTIA, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwire - July 4, 2008) - Fabian Manning, Member of Parliament for Avalon, will attend a mock jail to promote the Service Canada Centre for Youth (SCCY) in Placentia's Odd Job Service.

SCCYs link young people with employers, and provide information on Government of Canada programs and services to assist businesses and young workers with their summer employment needs.

Mr. Manning and SCCY staff members will be available to answer questions from the media and for a photo opportunity following the event.
