LEAGUE CITY, TX--(Marketwire - March 13, 2009) - Senscient welcomes Mr. Alan Skinner to fill the company's new sales manager position for the North, South and Latin American territories effective February 16, 2009. As Sales Manager, Americas, Alan will manage Senscient master agents and distribution partners with responsibility for sales of the ELDS Open Path Gas Detector (OPGD) product line.

Alan brings to Senscient more than 30 years of gas detection industry experience that includes gas detector system design and technical support in addition to direct sales. Skinner has a history of increasing sales across many continents for some of the best-known companies in the gas detection industry.
